OPB status update

Hello, busybodies,

So, a quick ETA of where we are:

- I just finished summarizing the rest of issue 8. It'll not be as info-dump-y as future issue summaries, mostly because I'd already started the process of converting it into a proper script before I realized "that will also take me ages." So hopefully that'll be posted next week. As mentioned before, it'll be posted both on the OPB website in downloadable form and on here.

- I definitely won't finish summarizing the comic by the end of the year. Ah ha ha, how naïve I was.

- This LJ will always have the most up to date status / information about the comic, so drop by if you're wondering how things are going.

- So what comes after OPB? Two things, actually. I'm working on a new comic, Cat Sick, that should debut at the start of December. I'll tell you more about it soon, possibly later this week or early next week, so you'll know why I chose such a ridiculous title. Additionally, I'm working on something that'll start up some time next year that is ridiculously brightly colored and fluffy; I'll be working with a friend to ensure that it is, in fact, brightly colored. It's meant to be the mirror of Cat Sick in more ways than one, and having them running alongside each other feels right. A "dark day to my bright night," sort of thing.

Yay for summaries. I don't mind how long it takes, so don't feel pressured or anything. :D

Also excited for Cat Sick; still puzzling over the title name and hoping I can figure it out on my own. Also, I hope by "brightly colored" nothing will have too much neon. Neon=eye pain for me, with a dash of nausea. xD

Aside from my brain wanting to turn off for Thanksgiving, I'm doing well.

Well, alright, I won't spoil you until next week, and then you can tell me what your theory was. :D And no, surprisingly not a lot of neon - just, y'know, actual color. I want it to look like a cartoon, really.

I'm waiting for that one too, hehe!

Oh trust me, you can spoil it for me now. When it comes to guessing/deducing things, I'm not the best at it. That's more my sister. I'm always that person that figures out who the killer is in the detective shows at the last possible second or just not at all. D:

Ah, ok. Color is good, but my mind made think everything was gonna be in neon and chrome. ><

Only...six more days before I can leave campus, four if ya don't count weekends. -excite-

Will you ever reveal why Collin left Fox? I find the dissolution of that relationship to be so...difficult to accept given how connected they were in the past. Also, I'm really fascinated by the relationship between Collin and Leon. It's very warped and yet you manage to present it in such an intriguingly engaging way, that there is a definite layer of sensuality that I would necessarily expect. Collin and Fox's relationship was very sweet and almost childlike, Collin and Leon seem much more sophisticated and complex and in some ways, more adult.

Anyway, I was just shocked initially to realize that Fox and Collin had separated, and then I was also kind of tantalized to see Collin involved in such a warped relationship :P
